Analysis Services always stores information about database objects cubes, partitions, dimensions, for example in data files on the server. You can think of this layer of information as a map. For each partition in a cube, though, you decide where to store the detail and aggregated values. You can choose from three physical storage options: ROLAP, HOLAP, and MOLAP.

The game of Pelmanism is a single player game. Having made it work, I wondered what it would be like for several players to play it at the same time. If the players were using real cards on a table, they would have to take turns, otherwise this would be impossible, as there would be no easy way to track of which player had turned over which card. However, a program can keep track of any number of cards and players, so I decided to convert Pelmanism to a multiplayer game. The Pell Mell version provides the same gameplay but for up to four players at once. The cards are dealt and displayed in exactly the same way as for the single player mode. Once the game starts, players can join the game by pressing the yellow Y button on their gamepad. Each player has his or her own cursor and moves it with the gamepad to select and match cards. The game keeps track of the number of pairs that each player has matched, and the winner is the player who matches the most pairs in one game. Players need to be careful because when they select a card it becomes visible for all other players, who can then try to match it first. It is not turn based but rather a complete free-for-all. Making Pelmanism a multiplayer game requires additional classes and state machines to be added. Each player is represented by a class that holds all their information.
